MacMillin Completes Major Renovation and Expansion at Seven Hills in Groton
Both phases of the expansion and renovation to Seven Hills at Groton Hospital and Residence have been completed. The state of the art facility was designed by Richard Monahon Architects and was truly a special project for all involved. This phased 3-story addition to the existing facility consisted of a complete educational center for severely handicapped children. The second and third floors consist of 48 patient living quarters, nursing support rooms, and community gathering areas.
The hospital staff and patients transitioned into the new addition as renovations began on the existing facility. The renovation included additional patient rooms, physical therapy, a commercial grade kitchen, administration and a tie-in of the new boiler and electric building.
