MacMillin Wins 2005 "Excellence in Construction" Awards for Elliot Hospital and Cheshire Medical Center & Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic

The "Excellence in Construction" Award recognizes the importance of the construction industry and its influence on our everyday life.

Renovation and expansion to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit, Maternity Ward, and Labor & Delivery Recovery Unit marked the beginning of Elliot Hospital’s goal of delivering unmatched medical services throughout its entire organization. Previously mothers facing difficult pregnancies used to have to travel to Boston for certain services that they can now receive at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. MacMillin, led by Jerry Blais in the field, executed the project without losing a single day of NICU, Maternity, or LDR operations, despite the necessary proximity of treatment rooms and construction activity.
