This courthouse was the first construction management project for the state of Vermont. Shot-crete was used to stabilize the existing rubble foundation in order support the new construction. Underpinning was also implemented to accommodate the varying floor elevations. The courthouse includes jail cells, a sally port, and ballistics proof windows and doors in high risk areas. All construction was managed around the operational facility, utilizing containment and indoor air quality protection measures.
